Research Projects for Which Funds Have Been Sought

The Center has applied for grants to conduct plant trials of commercial hybrids enhanced for ethanol production to determine actual yield differences and DDGS compositional differences. The Center, to-date, has been unsuccessful in obtaining funds in this area. We welcome the collaborative interest of corn growers and ethanol plants to help us interest industry and grant agencies in providing the funding for this project. The Center has applied for grants to provide training and tools to the community, educators and students without success.
