The STARs at SIUE are a recognized student organization through Kimmel Leadership Center. Because of the nature of the organization, the STARs operate out of the Office of Admission Counseling and Recruitment.
STARs volunteer their time to introduce prospective students and their families to the SIU Edwardsville campus. Incentive points are awarded for each tour and event, with awards given at the end of the spring semester. Each STAR is responsible for conducting one campus tour per week and must participate in at least two special events per semester.
