One of the primary objectives for the summit is the development of a continuing education / certificate course on pain and palliative care for practicing pharmacists. Modeled after the Education on Palliative and End of Life Care (EPEC) program and End of Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) concept of education, this workshop will identify the core content needed to provide a foundation on pain and palliative care education to pharmacists. A detailed presentation outline will serve as the outcome from this workgroup.
