<h2>What is FERPA?<br /></h2><p>As parents you need to be aware that there are limits to the types of information colleges and universities can release about students. The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) requires a student to provide written consent before their educational record can be released to a parent. This can be done through the Registrar’s Office (1309 Rendleman Hall).
