<h2>Billing and Payments</h2><p>SIUE's billing system is a little different in the sense that there is no paper involved…which is great for the environment but can be challenging to manage! Students can monitor their accounts online and all notification of payments due is done electronically. Due to <a href="http://www.ed.gov/policy/gen/guid/fpco/ferpa/index.html" title="FERPA">FERPA</a> regulations, parents or other family members do not have access to this information unless students grant them permission to view it through our <a href="http://www.siue.edu/bursar/bills/third_party.shtml" title="3rd Party Authorization">3rd Party Authorization</a> process.</p><p>You may want to discuss this option with your student to ensure that accounts are kept up-to-date because this can have an impact on course enrollment.</p><p>Students can opt to spread expenses over four equal payments during the semester.
