| Position Summary - Secretary to the Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs
Responsibility Summary - Reports to the Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs. Responsibilities include keyboarding correspondence and reports, seeing to the Assistant Dean's office needs, preparing all materials for the Assistant Dean's signature, and processing and securing the Assistant Dean's travel arrangements
- Develop and maintain student database
- Maintains all graduate student health and immunization records
- Maintains and updates the Graduate Student Handbook
- Processes all graduate student photographs and creates student identification badges for clinical rotations
- Secures necessary rooms and make arrangements for meetings, conferences and special events such as the Project Presentation Day, Convocation, and Graduate Student Orientation following general guidelines
- Prepares and processes paperwork required for graduating students
- Recording Secretary to the Graduate Curriculum Standing Committee
- Attends and acts as designated recorder for all appointed Graduate Curriculum committee ad hoc or task force committees
- Maintains graduate student listserves
- Maintains and updates the Thesis/Project Abstract Book, the Graduate Student Handbook, and copying and distributing disc and paper copies of the handbook to all new graduate students entering the Program.
- Processes information for the implementation of faculty and course evaluations completed by students each semester
- Screens telephone calls and routes routine technical questions as needed to appropriate departments or personnel
