Responsibility Summary - Responsible for advisement of all current and prospective graduate students in the School of Nursing. Communicate with students regarding regsitration, university and school requirements, scholarship opportunities, and graduation. Serve as a liaison between students and other offices on campus. Monitor current students' progression toward graduation and encourage timely completion of degrees.
- Coordinate the graduate admissions process in the School of Nursing. Process all application materials, serve as the main contact for applicants and the Graduate Student Affairs Committee, notify applicants of any missing application items, coordinate the admissions interview process, and maintain summary data on applicants.
- Serve as ex-officio member of the Graduate Student Affairs Committee and Graduate Curriculum Committee. Bring student issues to the attention of the Graduate Student Affairs Committee and communicate with students regarding the committee's decisions.
- Maintain summary data on applicants, enrolled students, inactive students, and graduates. Use enrollment summary data to create class schedule for graduate students each semester.
- Assist with the School of Nursing Convocation, the School of Nursing Open House, Graduate Student Meetings, and other events and recruitment activities as needed.
