Reservation deadline is Nov. 26.&lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p&gt;The SIUE Madrigal Singers will provide the musical and    &amp;ldquo;variety&amp;rdquo; entertainment during the evening that    includes a &amp;ldquo;royal Renaissance feast at which are kings,    queens, dukes, duchesses, counts, countesses, and lords of    lower estate, and nobles also a great number,&amp;rdquo; says the    &amp;ldquo;royal conductor&amp;rdquo; Joel Knapp, director of choral    activities for the department.&lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p&gt;&amp;ldquo;Everyone has great fun at the Madrigal Dinner every    year,&amp;rdquo; Knapp said. &amp;ldquo;We have a lighthearted    selection of activities planned as well as several madrigal    pieces for the holiday season&amp;mdash;some serious and others not    so serious. We must keep the lord of the manor and his guests    in good humor so that all may enjoy this incredible    feast.&amp;rdquo;&lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p&gt;Admission is $40 per person and includes a four-course meal    and an evening of entertainment. Proceeds benefit the    department&amp;rsquo;s scholarship fund. Also available are special    &amp;ldquo;scholarship seats,&amp;rdquo; preferred seating priced at    $80 each, which includes a $40 tax deductible donation to the    department.
