The Student Success Center is a new building attached to the Morris University Center. The SSC is a central location for a variety of student services. The building, upon completion, will be open 24 hours per day, so students will always have access to a computer and will also have access to conference and seminar rooms for small group meetings and to practice group presentations.
The Student Success Center houses Health Services, Counseling Services, Disability Support Services, SOAR, Student Government, Career Development Center, a Computer Lounge, and a Student Lounge. New and continuing students who have not declared their major receive academic advising each semester in Academic Counseling and Advising. Students take placement tests, can enroll in classes to strengthen particular skill areas, obtain tutoring services, or practice their computer skills in labs, classes, and services provided by Instructional Services.
