<h2>Admission Requirements</h2>
<p>To be admitted into the School Health Education option, students need a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, as well as meet all other teacher education admission requirements. To be retained, majors must maintain a GPA of 2.5 in their SIUE course work, and obtain a grade of B or better in HED 201 and grades of C or better in BIOL 140, CHEM 120A and 124A, PSYC 111, SOC 111, BIOL 203 and all HED major classes. All professional education courses must be completed with a 2.5 grade point average or higher.<br /> </p>
<h2>Exit Requirements</h2>
<p>Students are required to complete a senior assignment. Successful completion of an appropriate student teaching assignment culminates the student’s professional preparation.<br /> </p>
<h2>Application Deadline</h2>
<p>Students can apply upon completion of their general education skill classes.</p>
