The Cougar Literacy Clinic seeks to improve the literacy development of students in grades one through 12 who have reading and writing difficulties. Individualized assessment and instruction are provided by qualified graduate students in the literacy/reading master’s program under the direction of literacy professors in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. The Clinic also serves as a library to provide text and media resources for students, children and families.
