<body>&lt;h2&gt;How to Apply&lt;/h2&gt;&lt;h3&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Admission&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;p&gt;Admission to the MBA program is based on a variety of factors including undergraduate grade point average, overall score on the GMAT and its parts (Verbal, Quantitative, and Analytical Writing), and previous work in other graduate programs.&amp;nbsp; At least two years of work experience is recommended for students entering the MBA program.&amp;nbsp; Students recently admitted to the MBA program have had, on average, a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.2 (A= 4.0) and an overall GMAT score of approximately 520.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Students who are denied admission may appeal.&amp;nbsp; These appeals are handled by the MBA program director.&amp;nbsp; Students seeking an exception are required to provide the program director with evidence supporting the reason such an exception should be granted.&amp;nbsp; The program director&amp;rsquo;s decision regarding the appeal is final.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Unclassified Status.&amp;nbsp; An applicant with an undergraduate grade point average of 2.8 or higher may enroll in a maximum of two classes for one term as an unclassified student prior to taking the GMAT.&amp;nbsp; Students must file a separate application for unclassified status in addition to the classified (degree seeking) application.&amp;nbsp; Students who are unclassified are ineligible for financial aid, assistantships, or scholarships.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;h3&gt;How to Apply&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Apply&lt;/strong&gt; on-line at &lt;a href="http://www.siue.edu/graduate/apply/index.shtml" target="_blank"&gt;www.siue.edu/graduate/apply/index.shtml&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; or you may download the application and mail it in with the fee to the address listed on the application.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Send&lt;/strong&gt; your official transcripts from all institutions to:&amp;nbsp; Graduate Admissions, SIUE, P.O. Box 1080, Edwardsville, IL 62026-1080.&amp;nbsp; Graduates of SIUE do not need to have official transcripts sent.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Take the Graduate Management Admission Test &lt;/strong&gt;(GMAT).&amp;nbsp; Go to &lt;a href="http://www.mba.com" target="_blank"&gt;www.mba.com&lt;/a&gt; to register for the exam and download practice test software.&amp;nbsp; (The program code to have the scores sent to is 3T9-CD-79.)
