<h2><strong>Technology: $75,000<br /></strong></h2>
<ul>
<li><em>Science Building:</em> State-of-the-art technology is essential for a first-class experiential teaching and research facility. Working with the latest equipment in laboratories, classrooms and field schools means that today’s students will be fully prepared to become tomorrow’s great scientists, health professionals, entrepreneurs and teachers. Naming opportunities for laboratories, classrooms and other areas in the new SIUE Science Building begin at $250,000. A complete listing of needed equipment and naming opportunities is available through the College of Arts and Sciences’ Director of Development.</li>
<li><em>Mass Communications:</em> A multi-media laboratory with up-to-date equipment, software and computers will help the mass communications program remain one of the best programs of its kind in the nation. The total cost of creating the multi-media lab is $150,000.</li>
<li><em>Physics Observatory:</em> The Physics Observatory at SIUE will offer students and faculty exciting new astronomical research opportunities and community educational outreach programs. Seventy-nine percent of the project has been funded through SIUE and grants. An additional $75,000 is needed to complete the project.<br /></li>
