<p>The 3rd Annual SIUE Speednetworking is the social networking event that brings together SIUE students and alumni professionals. Based on the format of speed dating, attendees will have fifteen minutes to network with multiple alumni grouped at tables of eight. Once the networking round is up, students will move to the next table and continue networking. Students will learn how to make a good first impression, ask questions about different career paths and gain valuable networking experience. Alumni will talk about their post-college job experience, share networking tips and provide advice on this valuable career skill. Alumni volunteers will have the chance to network during the pre-event networking reception. </p>

<h3>Alumni Volunteer Information</h3>
Volunteers are needed to serve as the Speednetworking contacts. Alumni volunteers will be grouped at tables of eight and participants will rotate to different table every fifteen minutes. Even though you will be modeling effective networking techniques for participants, we hope you will also find the experience useful for your own professional development.
