<p><img src="/id0904f67a8067466f" alt="" width="250" height="197" align="left" />SIUE Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in conjunction with SIUE Campus Recreation and the SIUE Alumni Association is proud to present the First Annual “Haunted House of Hoops.”</p>
<p>The event will take place on Thursday, October 28th and is FREE to everyone. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and conclude with the kick-off to the 2010-2011 basketball season beginning at 7:00 p.m.</p>
<p>The evening's activities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Beginning at 5:30 p.m., student athletes will welcome children to the SIUE Campus Recreation gymnasium in the Vadalabene Center for interactive demonstrations and games</li>
<li>Free candy for trick or treaters</li>
<li>Children are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes - Prizes awarded to the most creative trick or treaters!</li>
<li>Also beginning at 5:30 p.m., the SIUE Volleyball team will take on the Racers from Murray State University</li>
<li>Immediately following volleyball match, Coaches Amanda Levens and Lennox Forrester will welcome SIUE students and the local community to kickoff the season with a live scrimmage, three point contest and many other interactive activities.</li>
